96 xj sport resurection
 

I just bought a 96 cherokee sport, they said it has a rubicon 3' lift but i gotta double check that, nice set of 31's on it but the engine is toasted... but with a nice body and good interior for 500 i just couldn't pass it up. Pictures and updates soon to come!

I think her head is cracked it has a coolant leak underneath and the guy at the shop said they ran it outta antifreeze on the way to his place and it got hot... so now i gotta get a new head and a gasket set... let the games begin!

Those tires look fairly new! nice buy! haha sounds like the last red jeep you had, it had a cracked head and holes in that one piston remeber?

Yeah id pull the head and see what everything looks like.

just bought a 4.0 block and head, 4.2 crank and rods, tri-y header (new in the box), valve cover 2 timing covers, oil pan, flywheel, fuel rail, and a wiring harness and computer from a zj for $200 on craigslist! it must be my week for great jeep deals

and don't remind me about the 11 mile jeep it still hurts...

so today i swaped my head from the 0630 casting to the 7120 and every thing went good until i was filling the coolant and noticed the water pump has a pretty major leak so thats tomorrows task i'll add my pics from today when i add tomorrows

camera sd card is lost somewhere in my truck :dunno: but the jeep is running great and getting legal this week! looking at putting a trans temp gauge in the dash where the factory clock is on most xjs its like $20 for the mount and its all drilled and painted all i have to do is install

so i got my plates finally... when you buy a vehicle make sure the person signs the title exactly how their name is printed on it! it took me an extra week and 2 hours at motor vehicles

With my autometer gauge it came with a thing to mount it in the dash. I just wanted the cool pod thing because it looks awesome!
