Default 96 xj classic

hey guys so today i just finished my lift its a 4.5 RE looks pretty dope got some vibes from the driveshaft...i think the t-case drop kit will fix it though(which i already have still need to be installed) all new front brakes calipers rotors pads brake lines the works....finally figured out how the discos are installed properly i think....my grandpa just bought me a wire feed welder today for all my rack and rear bumper and side bars im going to make now tell me what yall think so far i got a few more pix if ya want to see them too....and ill need some help on tellin which front and rear end i have thanks guys this forum is awesome im learning so much

Pretty sure you have a Dana 30 front and a Dana 35 rear in that year xj. That's what my 96 had when I had her . She is looking good ,keep up the good work

Front is a 30 and back is a 35. Usaully it stamped in on axle right next to the pumkin on left or right

well on the front there is a dana logo stamped in there
but on the rear end there is nothing but there is a chrysler logo stamped up closer towards the driveshaft

If I am not mistaken, the shape of the rear really really looks like the 8.25.

Man that may be the Chrysler rear . My was same year and had d35 you could Google the year and see for sure

its flat on top and bottom, the 35 is rounded.

yeah thats the general desired rear end, if its the 29 spline, some are 27. Dont ask me how to tell, other than opening it up and counting.. lol
