Well, The original deal for the s-10 springs fell through as my buddy was unable to get them off before the truck went through the crusher. found another guy in the local 4x4 club that has a set pluss the front coils out of a 5.9 grand Cherokee. been looking at my stock springs out back and have come to the conclusion that they are far to gone to even bother doing an aal or a bastard pack for that matter. So, I am back to the start of my quest to lift it. The full Zone kit is just to far out of my reach at this time. so i am thinking of buying just the rear springs for 3" lift and using the zj coils with spacers. Oh and the purpose of this build is a basic utility vehicle for camping, hunting and fishing / daily driver. Plus an occasional wheeling trip.
Bumpers and new hitch are in the works. The 1 1/4" receiver out back just isn't doing it for me... I do tow my boat and a trailer with the family camping gear loaded on it.

What do you more experienced guys out there think? I am I on the right track for a semi budget boost? Recommendations?

It's been a while since I have updated this thread. Haven't had a good phone or internet in a year. But in the interim I have built a new front bumper and just did my lift. Went up 3.5 inches. Front could and LCR's are tuff country that I scored from the local junk yard. Rear springs and all four shocks are pro comp. The fronts are es9001 from the yard and rear are new es1000's. Track bar bracket is a sky jacker. Will be installing t case drop spacers I made at work. Removed the roof rack for some minor repairs and will be installing it again soon. Rear bumper is next on build list
