95 jeep "wolfie" cherokee sport
Well this would be my first cherokee. And when it comes down to what I paid for it. Its a really nice jeep. Being 16 if it has wheels and it stops and runs i can drive it. Not saying im good at driving. just I dont really care.
To get to know my jeep. Its a 95 cherokee sport. Dubbed "wolfie" coz thats what every one calls me (coz of my last name) and well its pretty cool. Any way its got 31 inch tires and im pretty sure its lifted 3 inches but to tell you the truth... Im new to jeeps.
Any way bought this jeep for 1450. No biggy all my summer work moneys almost gone but oh well. Then the starter dies at taco bell. During lunch... During finals... So thats a small problem. Actually I find out the transfer case and (already knew this one) drive shafts bad.
So what am I doing to my "beast". Well im pulling the t-case and drive shaft from a parts 96 jeep cherokee i got for $600. Also going to take the stock fender flares and but them on mine coz I dont have any. Then im going to fix the floor where (2 owners ago) blew the drive shaft through. then the cracked wind shield.
So I will post up pictures while I am working on it coz well... I have to start taking the 96 apart for my 95 so.. yea wish me luck.

That was kinda already done... See my problem is that state laws (wisconsin) says I need to have the tires covered. And i really dont have the cash to buy flares that are gunna cover the tire completely...

Ok I was looking at my jeep this morning i figured out that (as I stated before) the fenders are cut. Did some research and they were cut so you could put bush-wackers or omix on them.
Now I dont have the cash for that. So im still going with the stock ones that came from my parts jeep. I think they are 3" but Im not sure coz the only thing I've done to them are taken them off and painted them.
I will be draining/removing the t-case and drive shaft. And will most likely take pictures. Not just for here but so i dont put it on my jeep wrong. I will have pictures of the parts jeep and my jeep up as soon as I get the chance.

Started to take off the fenders on my parts jeep So I could get the fender flare pieces off. But 2 of the bolts (one on each side) are stripped. So i have to do it the hard way...
Went under the jeep and did TRIED to take the drive shaft apart. I have a manual on how to do so... But i didnt read all of it... Typical 16 year old stuff right? Well i didnt get a whole bunch of stuff done. SO i read it and well... Im dumb and didnt see how to take it apart. SO i started to take it apart (front and back) and did alittle but of disconnecting of the t-case and tranny.
Pics soon... I hope.

Got the drive shafts off and decided I wanted to check the T-cases on both jeeps to see if everything's going to a easy swap. Now i am supposed to have 242 because i have a select track system for my 95. That's what it originally had.
1 of the previous owners put a 231 PART TIME only t-case in it. SO i'm the lucky owner who is finally able to put the right thing on my jeep.
Pics of my 95 "Wolfie" jeep. Will upload pics of parts jeep if needed. So here we go. All pics are taken by a flash camera in the dark.

Update 1-31-11
Alright I did and took alot of pics today so get ready for a multipost update.
The rear window washer arm broke. I got some what of a picture of it.
So out of my parts jeep I removed the rear window motor, arm, and all the other stuff.
I sadly had to cut into the back panel of my parts jeep because the hatch is broken. SO i ended up getting a little bloody...
Heres what I finished from what the PO of my parts jeep did... I didnt do alot but I did enough...
But I did get my kerosene heater to work

Got the new 242 on my jeep. Need to put drivshafts on and a new electrical connector because it is different from the one on my 95. I will also try and work on the rear wind shield wiper. Getting fender flares hopefully at the end of the week.

Pics and video this saturday. I put in Neon 703 injectors, new exhaust manifold, and new brakes. The pics will be of the brake pads (which is just the metal piece. so no pad) and video will be over the engine running and some driving. Oh and i put my "new" 96 front seats in.

Well i havent been able to take much pictures. But here is whats been going on. I replaced a rotor. Got some reverse glow gauges... and broke them. SO no pics til I get new 1s. I didnt have time to get pics of the new 97 poly tank I wired in but now I only have 1 gas line and its off a TJ wrangler. And its a metal thing not the crappy plastic stuff. Will get pics of that later.
After almost a year I got it lifted! 3 inches in the front and about 2.75 inches in the back. Give or take. Its looks really nice. I will be uploading more pics of the lift and other things that I have been doing on her.
After i get the stuff to make rectangular tube slider rocker panels I will get the other 2 rust holes fixed and then I will Monsta-line the Cherokee. So she will hopefully be black soon.
Heres some quick pics
