Slight update:

Here is how it sits now. Nothing special 35's on some ranger rims, open 30/35 combo, roughly 3-4" of lift and that about covers it.

So now I am left fixing up the Jeep to meet the needs of a DD and reasonably crawler. I dug deep into the shed and drug the Waggy D44's I had collecting cob webs out and started tearing into them.

Luckily everything you get off of craigslist is as described so the supposed 4.10 axles had 3.30's and 2.73's in them...and were kept up with very well.

I can't take a picture of it, but the ujoints are so bad that when you turn the knuckle (with a 5lb sledge) you can no longer turn the shafts.

On a less frustrating note I grabbed another high speed carrier, 4.88T's and a mini spool for the front. I plan to rig up a cable locker for the CAD and to continue running the OE flanges.

They are starting to clean up nicely and according to the tape measure the stock leaf perches will work untouched.

Rear is completely torn down minus pinion removal and received a light coat of paint after several hours of grinding.

As could be expected after getting a couple pints of water out of the diffs the wheel bearings are in sad shape and the locking sleeve was pretty attached to the tube housing.

Oh well that's all I got for now. Grabbing a full spool from the same shop that had the mini spool+gears. Going to carry over the 35's probably on some steelies hopefully beadlocks if budget allows. Front end wise plan is a custom 3 link similar to whats in the ranger, but heims all around.

Not much progress, but so far the rear brakes are now built for the 44, fresh bearings on the rear shafts and the front is a little more torn down. One of the spindles is stuck thanks to a round nut so waiting on some easyouts to get the damn thing off.

Hubs cleaned up perfectly and spindles look fine along with all of the bearings.

Made some diff armor for the jeep. Frobt isn't done yet since I ran out of cut off wheels. Rear is done however.
