94 2 Door XJ Build
Hey everyone! New to the forum. Just bought myself a 1994 2 Door XJ Sport with 230000Kms. HO 4.0l, HP Dana 30 Front, Dana 35 Rear, NP231 T case, AW4 Tranny. I picked it up for $750. Body is mint. No Rust. Has 3 inch coil spacers, Add a leaf, and 30" BFG KOs. But its got a few issues. Has death wobble, torque converter whines, leaks every fluid in it, etc. I've wanted one of these for a while so I'm pretty excited to start building. I have LOTS planned for it, but it'll probably be a year at least before I have it the way I want it. And even then I'll most likely have a whole new list of things to do haha. Most upgrades will be bolt in stuff, I don't have any metal fab experience(yet). I love wheelin, but for me, working on it is half the fun. Its my main hobby.
Im also a member of the BC Ranger Club. I still have my Ranger (2008 FX4 - 4" SL, 3" BL, 33s etc.) and wheel it almost every weekend. I love that truck, but for now, I have it the way I want it. So its time for the next project. I also wanted something a little older to abuse. What better than an old XJ right?
I took it out light wheelin the day I bought it. Had to get my moneys worth for the 1 day permit. And now it sits in my friends driveway till I move into my new house (hopefully with a garage). If not, Ill most likely be building one before I start any serious upgrades on the Jeep. Anyways here are some pics.
Flex with both sway bars still connected. The rear tire is about 5 inches off the ground :laughing001:
