Ok the bolts I used are a 1/4 in and 1in long and I used washers between the nut and inside of the fender flare. Thanks for the advice about the door hinges I will ask a couple of the othere guys in my area what they did after removing the plastic

 

I took a couple pics of the jeep today and thought I would post them on my build thread

 

Yeah just pick up some pool noodles from walley world next time ur there and cut them in half and stuff them in front of the door hinges inside the fenders!

I disconected my front swaybar on saturday so I can get more flex offroad and took my jeep out wheeling on sunday and bent up my fenders and riped my front flares off with the tires

I guess that just means I have to do some fender trimming

I only used 1 can of black on the hood and its ace brand gloss black enamle

 

Hell ya it is Iknew it would flex more but I didnt think it would flex that much more

Well monday I cut my fenders and did a crappy job at it so I need to do some touch up

Yeah you hacked it up pretty good that's for sure.

Now you need to find a way to cover it up a little and you will be fine. Good flares might do it, even if they are home made.

Be careful with the rears they are not so forgiving.
