This is my new jeep! Its a 93 2 door 5-speed 4cyl with 58k miles on it. Now, my goal for this jeep is to largely restore it. But, I also want to have fun with it. It has a hitch (could you get a 4cyl with a hitch from the factory? Im doubtful.) and I want to go with my friends and do some beach excursions. So, I want to build it to handle the sand.

Loose sand or hardpack, (wet) sand.
Either way, 3 inches and 31's will probably be your best bet to start with. Do work son.
