Default 92 Cherokee " PROJECT SUPERSTOCK"

Hey guys i figured i would make my first official build thread after being on many forums and having many different vehicles. I plan to do most if not all the work myself. And im really no mehchanic. Just a competent guy with some drive!
So i bought this 92 Cherokee with 108k on it for a whopping 480 dollars not to long ago and this will be my base. I have always liked the idea of super stock vehicles. Ya know Vehicles that look "stock" but perform great as well. Like the Gmc Typhoon Or the New F150 Raptor.
Right after i got her and cut the rockers. Im going to trim them up perfect tomorrow with the Metal Shears i got tonight!

I also threw some Wrangler Sahara Rims on

I also got some stock rear leafs with an extra tow leaf plus some rear rancho shocks. And i went to the Pik n pull and grabbed a Front windshield spoiler i cant wait to install.

I cant wait to keep on working on this. I got a new fuel filter im going to put in. I also want to do the valve cover gasket. A tune up. And a budget lift. Any Comments criticism or Support is always appreciated. Ill try and update often.

i basically took the fender flare line and took a sharpie to mark the line of the gray flare and cut along there...

as for the rears (on my new cherokee)... i did this...

then hammered the cut pieces into the wheel well...

I got outside and managed to trim the rockers up real nice, and despite everyone saying ooo you cant do your own rear shocks. Your going to break a bolt in there. Blah Blah Blah. I went up in there and replaced my rear shocks today. Since i had soaked the bolts in PB blaster for a few days they came out pretty easily. And the new ones went in nicely. Ill post pics soon.

So i got around to taking some pics so here they are. Hope you like lots of pics!
Before Trim

After Trim

My old shocks. ( Yes i know my leafs are terrible! Working on that)

Yanking the old one out

Breaking the bolt with my ultra cheater bar ( 1800's war hammer with metal handle and 20lbs head)

My little set up

Out with the old

In with the new!

All buttoned up

NOW out for some quick fun ( You can see the nice trimmed rockers! i like) I wish i had the skill to fab up some nice sliders

And some quick dirty interior shots for you guys!

OVERALL GOOD DAY. I had an awesome time just jumping in and working on the jeep myself. Im glad that it all went smoothley and i saved money having to pay someone else! ha! I also just sold my bike so im going to have extra project cash.the real Lift coming soon hopefully. Hope you guys enjoy.

well if you want a cheap lift for the time being, spacers and blocks are cheap and easy, then you can piece together a lift over time
