Looking good! Where'd you get the white color matched paint from? I need to do the same on my rig.

 

The gloss was a bit too high, I wet sanded then polished it out

 

Well, drove the jeep and it stranded me!

$197 tow later I had it back in its now semi-permanent spot in the garage.

Had weak crank, then no crank at all. Tow guy thought grounds...

I pulled the starter today, degreased it and cleaned all the trash out. I also cleaned up the commutator. Can anyone spot the problem?

 

Rebuilt the starter with a new set of delco brushes and man what an amazing difference. Starts instantly
