Got it up and PB Blastered everything over couple times. All went good until the final leaf pack. Had to free up and cut metal bushing sleeve to remove front bolt and had to cut bolt on back leaf mount because the tack weld broke on welded nut.

Have longer brake line to install on back as well as these guys. The shackles are beefy 3/8" and only $72/PR. I cut a shackle and could'nt bring myself to replace with stock for more money. Only supposed to add 1", we'll see..

Looking for any advice or comments on 4-5" expected lift. Like to trim a bit and run 33s but gearing is at 3.07 in the D35. From reading, it sounds as if I will have to stick to 31s until I have more money for SYE, DS... thoughts?

I will post pics when I finish the back.

So you're around 4-5" of lift? I'm at the same with my 92 and don't any issues with the stock driveshaft. If you have 3.07s I assume you have a 5 speed? You can do a simple axle swap from any XJ with an automatic transmission as those have 3:55 gears. I'm running 3:55's on 33s with an automatic trans and its doing alright. City gas mileage suffers and highway is right around 15 mpg. I don't think that's too bad for a lifted rig.
