91 cherokee, need advice

i absolutly love my 1991 cherokee. and i am faced with either getting rid of it for a new truck or rebuilding and decking out my current one. at 220000km on it tho it feels like a waste not to put some time and money in it and get her rebuilt and redone to the point of being new once again.
i would love some advice on what i can do myself, or add onto my beautiful straight six to get some more muscle. any advice on superchargers?
im probobly opening a bag of worms, but id love the advice haha

your only limited to your imagination. and they do make charger kits for them, what do you have in mind for your whole rig

220000km translates to what in miles my 90 has almost 220000 miles on it and it still runs good minus some easy fix bs probs but i have no major issues i run 7" lift with 33's and at the time i dont worry with the motor

Eaton makes a super charger kit for them, but its kinda on the pricey side.

What are your plans for the jeep?

well i was reading around and other than the small BS problems i have to fix it looks like getting a performance cold air filter and exhaust gives you a bit more oomph. and i was reading that you can tinker with a bigger throttle plate?
over all i was thinking i would leave the body as is aside from some dent repair. new paint and interior eventually, most of what i wanna do is get my engine up to the best it can be. altho i can deffinatly respect the idea of leaving it alone, they are pretty wicked.
i will look into those super's too, thanks a bunch

My first XJ has 260,000 on it when I got rid of it and still ran great other than a bad speed sensor.

its only like 130 000 miles. for an inline 6 it might as well be new. i just want faster! haha
