went to the junkyard to pull some sway bar links off another xj and get a pair of bastard packs.

ended up finding a skidplate off an 89 laredo and its sway bar links were stripped so they remained. but never got to the blazers before the place closed

will have the skidplate painted blue and on within the next few days between school and work, its gotta alot of clean up to do. its covered in half inch of dirt and grime. lol

Default progressing with the easy stuff.

been a while, finals this week so work on the jeep was put on hold.

skid plate off and on after scraping clean and painting.

there was a flap the PO made to reinforce his wiring harness for the tow package. too bad he had to us part of the frame as the flap. had to drill holes and maneuver around it for the skid to fit.

and a close up of it mounted

went and picked up some lights. future roof rack build had been put on an even longer delay and needed some extra vision for trails.

also went and got all new LCA bushing from autozone. lets hope it solves the floorboard thumping when the steering wheel turns from dead center.

Default door trim or paint?

so im contemplating whether i want to glue the door trim back on that has fallen off or just strip the entire car and paint where they would be.

it would be a charcoal gray or black. any imput?
