'89 XJ on the drawing board
Let's just start out with me having an 89XJ auto with a bad vacuum diff actuator. I've also got a battery drain from I don't know where.
I've popped off the vacuum diff motor and swapped around the snap rings so that the front is always in limited slip. I'm pretty sure my headgasket squeezed and then got some antifreeze in the rod bearings, so the motor is toast. HERE'S WHERE THE FUN BEGINS!!!! I've had a mustang for about a decade now and I've had 4 different engines in it, done 'em all myself. I'm thinking of simplifying the harness and dropping a carbureted 5.0 in my rig. I think I might need to strengthen the chassis too, I'm sure there are a few of you guys who could point me in some good directions. I dunno about you, but I feel pretty damn excited now! https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net..._6157530_n.jpg |
a 5.0 in a xj would be bada$$
goodluck with the build |
just found a carbed 5.0 from my old race shop for about 500$
When I'm done, I think I'll trade the laradeo badges for 302. |
