Loving it....tomorrow is my Bday....going up to square away pickup of my Comanche......then the project will really begin.....

Gonna take that POS Puegot tranny and get an AX15? The one in mine is completely grenaded, so its the perfect time for me to swap.

Looking forward to more.

Gonna keep the peugeot for now, I dont have the money or else I would. my second XJ(red) had the ax15. Felt a lot stronger than this thing. just going thru the shift pattern anyways.. That thing looks pretty good for a back40 jeep. Hows the body?

Couple dents on the roof, but for the most part looks pretty good. Driver side window regulator is trashed, so the window has been halfway down for who knows how long. But it looks like most of it is here.

Can't wait to get it home.

Its alive!!!!
slipped the trans into first gear with a screwdriver because I took out the gear selector in first and It wouldnt fit.. Adjusted the transfercase linkage, bled the clutch some more.. And I took my first drive. Needs a lil more bleeding, but it works great. Need to run my vacuum lines for the 4wd actuation, but shes gonna get a shake down this week!
I may have to get a set of xj stock springs. This bull**** wrangler type lift setup isint tall enough for 32s. Rubs like a mother ****er at nearly halfway to lock.
