So I've owned the truck for about 2 weeks, and after all the hoops the state of nc made me jump through in the past three days finally got mytags for her today. As she sits right now she is stock hight althought i've got a 3 inch front lift for her, soon illget her rear lift and she will be getting a set of 31's. She a rusty sky blue right now and I'm debating on what kinda camo it's gonna be painted

Question for the veterans, with an inline6 what the normal operating temp, and oil pressure? What should it be reading on the gauges?

And in April I plan to drive the jeep from nc where I live to Chicago then back to north Carolina. Any thing I should do or bring with me prior to this?

It should run 190-220 on temp and Oil should set around 30-40 driving and 20-25 at idle. The guages are not always accurate on these tho.

For the first oil change I was gonna use Lucas oil treatment, any reason I shouldn't

I would use Lucas in every oil change. Make sure you check/change your diff fluids before that long trip (especially with the salt water womping you're doing).

Actually I keep my *** out of that salt water as much as possible, I was just too tempted that day, any recomended fluids for the diff's transfer case and tranny
