Small update: Had the coolant and heater core flushed, thermostat and oil changed, and rotated the tires. Feels good to have heat, thermostat has been open for a long time. Here's a cool picture that occurred on my way back to school in frozen rain.

Thanks, it's a never ending project but it's a fun one for sure. Lots of future plans but keeping it clean is at the top of the list.

Haha clean but functional, don't want my Jeep to become like BleepinJeep's XJ that was turned beauty to crawler. Researching 2x6 rockers now, don't have any rust but for the price and looks I like the idea. So not clean where I won't cut into it but it needs to look good in the end too. Looks & Functionality

Im considering doing the 2x6 rockers too. I'd be curious see see how you set yours up. My rocker is rusted, so might be cheaper to just go to 2x6's instead of a new rocker.

Just got off the phone with the local scrap company in town. $103 for two 5' sections of 2x6 3/16" and four 5' sections of 1/8" flat stock, very happy with the price.
