Today was quite the progressive day at home.
I took the bumper out and welded on the JCR hoop then hung everything up and painted it, will install it tomorrow.
Took off the front skid plate which surprisingly came out amazingly easy and still deciding on whether I want to put it back on or not.
Removed my front sway bar completely, again no bolts snapped and all came out easily
Loosened each bolt that I will be having to remove, get this, the steering box bolts came out super easy with no issues!
The Jeep gods must have been watching over me today and graced me with great luck. Those steering box bolts coming out without much muscle was the best part next to the bumper!

Bumper looks good. How far does it tie into the uniframe?

Bumper uses 8 bolts per side, thing isn't going anywhere.

So today I installed the bumper, boy what fun! Because I have the factory tow hooks I was very happy to find out that I have a 1/4" thick front crossmember brace, but found out quick that the tie in brackets for the hooks are welded to the bumper brackets. Steering bolts came out easy and only had to cut the torx tie in bolts for the hooks. This bumper looks absolutely amazing to me and couldn't ask for anything better. Worst part of the install was having to remove the alternator but it was worth it.

Bumper looks great. I bet you're itching to get those 35's now! I had the same fun time finding out that the stock tow hook brackets are welded to the bumper on my Jeep since mine are bent and I'm replacing them soon. Are you still planning on the 4 inch IRO springs up front? Also what are you going to do to the rear to lift it? Shackle relocation brackets? That's what I'm thinking for mine, relocation brackets for the rear, and longer coils up front.

Yea the 35s are itching like after a night with a questionable lady of the evening lol but there is still lots of work to be done before that.
I still plan on getting IROs 4" coils as my passenger side is measuring a whole 1/2" shorter than the driver's side for some reason and with IROs coils I can take out the extra isolator I have as a spacer. The rear is sitting at an even 4"s and after the coils everything should be leveled out perfectly. Only thing thing I'd want to do to the rear would be to replace the bushings on the leafs.
Right now I'm deciding on whether the next big thing should be sliders which would be great but aren't necessary for where I wheel in DE until the trip to Rausch comes one inevitable day. Or long arms but want to really wait for 35s with those since I need to set up front shocks, bump stops, limiting straps, double shear track bar bracket and anything else.
