88 Laredo stock.... For Now!

I picked up this 1988 Cherokee bone stock other than a cheap loud muffler that the previous owner put on. It has the 4.0 I6 4x4 and has 281k miles and from what I know everything is original. Since I bought it I have: cleaned several times, bedlined the front bumper, headlight surrounds, and the insides of the grill. Not sure exactly what I am wanting to do with it, but most likely a mild build/second daily.
Pictures start from when I bought it to what it looks like now. The day I brought it home... |

Did the inside of the grill and the entire front bumper yesterday. The bedliner turned out great! Plans for the next week: fix annoying idler pulley and bed-line the fenders and rear bumper...

Looks good. I remember when my '88 was stock. 31s and a simple 3" lift is a great daily driver/trail adventurer.

Yay another 88 Laredo build.

Well I found myself not busy on my day off so I ended up starting to bedliner the exterior of the XJ. I got most of it done but found myself running out of daylight to finish. So I will eventually go over it all again with a couple more coats as well as do the back hatch and roof. It turned out pretty well for doing hardly any prep work.
