87 comanche "project BAF (broke as f**k)"
i picked up my 87 comanche 2wd long bed some time ago. im an now on the road to gettin her driving again. i bought it with a SOA lift and some other components to make about 6 inches of lift. 33s, and a chrysler 8.25 in the rear. the engine and body had about 260,xxx and the stock tranny was bad. the body shows some age with the typical rust over the rear wheel wells and on the bed, but its not too bad. the frame is good and everything seems alright.http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._6221057_n.jpghere it is the day i bought it

i then found a 94 engine/tranny setup with an AX-15 and np231. went on ebay, found the wiring harness. now to get it all togetherhttp://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._2593599_n.jpg

|
thanks guys.
UPDATE: we got the engine in, getting it ready to turn over. (hopefully). pulled up the carpet *insert horror movie suspenseful music here* and it is horrible. so that needs to be adressed. got the beefy trans/xfer case skid on. that was quite fun, pics to follow. other than that, im waiting on injectors and a driveshaft. the only thing i can do now is check and double check my wiring.:sweatdrop: |
damn, its gonna be worth it though. I'm looking to buy a '88 2WD 5 speed comanche
|
Looks great man! I will keep an eye on it
