$600 1993 Cherokee build.

I just bought a 1993 Cherokee Sport 193k for $600, it has a Rancho 2.5" lift and is quite ugly...for now! It surprisingly runs & drives GREAT, under 55 MPH that is. On the freeway it starts to get a really bad wobble in the front end, I have ordered a few items to hopefully remedy the problem. The paint and interior are nothing to brag about, missing a few parts but in decent enough condition! My goal is to build a reliable hunting/off road rig.

Here is a list of the first things I ordered or already picked up, LOTS of work to do...
(NEW) 31/10.50/15 General Grabber A/T tires $600 installed
TJ wheels $50
Full custom Magnaflow exhaust w/ catalytic converter $250
Full tune-up $35
Cooling system flush $20
Thermostat 195 $6
16 lb radiator cap $6
LED fog lights FREE
Paint for the bumpers & grill $10
(NEW) side mirrors $90
(NEW) side marker lenses $22
Rough Country control arms $110
Rough Country adjustable track bar $129
Rancho Steering stabilizer $50
Headliner material $20
Factory sound bar $50
Valve cover gasket Felpro $7
Rear main seal Felpro $17
Oil pan gasket Felpro $24
Trans filter kit $25
Rear diff gasket $4
Hidden industries rear tire carrier $100

I have quite a bit more to get, but need to finish the above list first!

Next will be...
Custom roof rack, that I will attempt to build with my Hobart 140 welder & affordable tube bender
Paint job, done by myself
Custom Seat covers
Custom rear drawer to hold a few of my firearms securely.

Any input would be appreciated!

Keep up the good work. Looks like a fairly clean rig to work with. Same interior as mine and about as dirty as mine was. Still kind of is but I ripped my interior out and bedliner entire floor and put new passenger floor in as well. I say this to keep close eye on what's going on below that carpet. If it is going to be a hunting adventure rig you may want to tear carpet out and bedliner it now then possibly put carpet back. I would say leave it out but then some folks need the insulation sound deadener that carpet provides.

I wish they offered a decent priced vinyl floor I would probably put that in mine.

I want to see it when lift is in and near complete but I'll check in to see progress as you go.

I also installed the Rough Country LCA’s, adjustable track bar and Rancho steering stabilizer. Took it on the freeway to see if the upgrades fixed the death wobble.... success! Had the Cherokee all the way to 75 mph and no frontend wobble at all!!!

Next will be oil pan gasket and rear main seal. Also picking up some 1” square tubing for the roof rack I plan on building.

Tire carrier looks good. How is the tire secured, though?

i welded a 1/2” grade 8 nut to the top portion and then used a 1/2” grade 8 bolt through one of the lug nut holes. I may change the mounting set up, I will post pics later today
