6.5" RC Long Arm 2Dr Poser Flex Shots
Hey there, I just finished my Rough Country 6.5" Long Arm Suspension. I put 1.75" coil spacers in there and replaced the 2.2 Series shocks that come in the kit with skyjacker nitro shocks because of the lengths. The 2.2 Series shocks are basically limiting straps to the flex that this kit is capable of. So here is a few poser shots sitting on 35's. Its def got more room to flex now that ive cut my fenders and raised my flares. (Not shown in pics) This is just the beginning of this project so stay tuned!

Well, within next couple weeks im doin Advanced Adapters SYE and Tom Woods Driveshaft. Then 4.56 Gears, Spartan Lockers, and Chromoly axle shafts. The list could go on forever lol but once i stack some more cash...M.O.R.E front bumper with Bulldog 8K Winch. Iceland Offroad Flares. Seats, Roll Cage, Roof Rack...I think im going to cut the rest of my rockers off since they are half rusted off and box em with 2x4 steel.

Nice build, but why so high? Seems kinda HCG for 35s. Dont get me wrong you did a really nice job. Wish mine was a two door. I just did the same to my rusty rockers; its worth the headache, you'll love em. I used 2x4 too and ran them tight to the pinch weld. I may add some tube in the spring to create some door protection. You'll see what I mean.

Nope havent taken her on the road yet. I still gotta put in stainless brake lines. I drove it around my yard with my e-brake that barley works lol. When i tried taking out stock front lines the nut didnt loosen it just spiraled the hard line....yay! So i'll prob end up cutting like an inch off hard line and re flare the end so i dont have to replace the whole line.
grn99 Do you have any pics of your 2x4 rockers? I was thinkin about putting some tube on mine too.

I'm thinking it out, don't worry this isn't my first rodeo. My first XJ was a 92 4 Dr with a pieced together 4.5" lift with 33's. It went ok...I've built a couple rigs for friends and family too. But this one is what ive wanted for a while (97+ 2Door) and im gunna do it right. But im def open to any suggestions.
