Default 6.5" lift questions

Just sold my 96 Cherokee Classic 4.5" on 33s last night going to buy a 97 XJ tomorrow morning. I'm planning on installing a 6.5" lift on 35s.. Now my question is what all should I get done because of the bigger lift. Do I need a new axels etc? Or should I reinforce the current ones. Basically just tell me what all I need to get done so I don't mess anything up. Thanks.

With 35's regearing will definitely help and you can use the stock axles (8.25 is better than d30) but you might want to look into 44's or other choices, but there are people who are fine with stock axles. Your best bet is to see what gears you should get and decide on axles on what ever your price range is. If this will be a offroad only vehicle, look into full widths,
