500$ dd cherokee
i bought a 4x4 1990 jeep cherokee for $500 275,000 miles straight six aw4 np242 d30/d35 you know all the normal stuff for an old cherokee but anyways was going to put a 6.5 inch long arm with some 37's on it but i ended up wrecking my dd so now its my new one haha
after that i got 2 inch bb and some stock yj wheels and tires so replace the old steel and dryrotted tires
back and front with 2inch and stock yj w/t
then a stock cherokee wheel (black) with a 30x9.50
then i was browsing on here one day and i was like........cut the fenders and add some 31's
bye bye flares
time to cut!!
now finally with the 31x10.50 mud rover and black steelies brand new tires even blue still lol
nice wide stance
well as you can tell it was tight in the back
(my 150lbs worth of sterio didn't help)
2 PB 15's
so i got tired of the slight rubbing so again looking around on here saw something about making a bastard pack with s-10 leafs and put grand cherokee coils up front so for about $100 i picked up some coils rear leafs and new ubolts and new yj rear brakeline and went to work
this is the after math
well i like how it sits i think if i took my stereo out of the back it would sit level but i still have one more s-10 leaf left so i might get bored and put it in lol
the bastard pack is xj main,s-10 main,s-10 second,s-10 overload and i got about 3.5 inches of lift
the coils i got about 2 more inches up front
so far no drive line vibs or any problems
also i put ford 302 #19 injectors in it runs much better
been through about 6 different exhaust systems and i found the one i like the best is a flowmaster 40 series turned around backwards and dumped
i had straight piped
muffler out the side
pretty much everything but it seems to run and sound the best how it is with the flow turned around backwards
other than that i haven't done anything els to it
currently at 279,000 still running strong

i have a flowmaster 40 series turned around backwards to fit up in the frame rails and it has a really deep tone but not too loud
i like the sound of it
also a gibson muffler sounds really good if you got the 4.0
