38 inch XJ 2,5 diesel.
This is my dads jeep XJ 97 model he asked me to post some pics of it since he´s not really a computer guy.
iIt´s has an orginal 2.5 diesel engine from VM . 5 speed manual gearbox. 38 inch Artic trucks tiers, orginal dana 30 front axel and the orginal dana 35 rear axel with 4.88 gearing. He did the fabrication an build all by him self. It has all the standar off road equipment such as GPS hooked to a laptop, VHF radio. Next upgrades gonna be rear airbag suspension front and rear lockers and the dream is to but in the 3.0 jeep commander desiel engine or an Benz sprinter engine diesel of course. http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/l...Picture094.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/l...773_327337.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/l...Picture131.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/l...Picture102.jpg |

first off, be prepared for the monsoon of people telling you how bad of an idea it is to run 38s with the D35(but i personally say run it till it breaks and worry about it then.) Ok, first question, are those the iceland offroad flares or what? and second, are those modified stock wheels? oh yeah sweet rig btw, love the low COG look
|
im impressed the baby danas can take those tires
|
here you go.
they are special made for icelandic conditions by an icelandic company called Artic trucks wich builds cars for the norwegian army and they also built the cars that went to the north pole. http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/l.../AT405dekk.jpg |
