2001 XJ "Smokey the Bear" DD build
 

Hey this is my first official build thread. I've been on the forum since 2011 as mainly an observer of everyone Else's work. I felt it was time to dive in the mud head first with my new Cherokee. I just purchased in July of 2015 this Oregon state fleet rig. Its a 2001 Sienna pearl Cherokee SE model with 131,000 and some change on the clock. This will be my fourth Jeep I've owned. I had a 2000 Cherokee sport with 240,000 miles on it when i sold it in may 2015, I also owned an 89 Cherokee and a 99 Grand Cherokee. Anyways long story short after selling my 2000, I immediately regretted it and had to have another Cherokee. Here she is a couple of days after I brought her home in all her glory. cue angels singing ect. ect....

I just finished painting my stock six spoke jeep wheels this weekend. What does everyone think?

Looking good. Where did you get that new blue led cluster at?

Well this is what I have done over the past month. future improvements will be a 3inch lift at tax time probably a Rusty's off road or maybe a rubi 3.5 super ride like my 2000 had what do you guy's think? I know i wont go bigger this will be a DD and my weekend warrior. I'm also going to get 30inch or 31inch tall cooper discover stt tires, an led interior kit, truck light head lights, a roof rack and maybe some knock off ravine wheels or soft 8's I saw on the interwebbs. Stay tuned!

I got the blue LED kit from ebay for like 15 bucks I believe.

Guess what I got in the mail today! REPRESENT!

I'm usually not a fan of those wheels as they tend to be rusty & abused after 15 years, but those look really good. And it looks kinda like a forest ranger's Jeep, so the name fits.

Really wondering how this build turned out? I really like the look of this thing
