Lol dumpster fire in progress...I’m going to us that lol, rear glass is held in just like the factory glass with urethane just without the rubber molding, I happen to know a good auto glass guy, and for aluminum welding I use argon gas with .35 aluminum wire though the standard mig hose with a .40tip set on a high setting and a nice preheat of the aluminum I’m welding to get some pretty good results, nothing show car pretty, but nice deep fairly clean welds!

Got a cool idea off of a XJ guy on instagram that had a similar thing going on, had an old Ka-bar knife sitting around so put it in a handi emergency seatbelt cutter, and a good opportunity to show off some beastly forearm action lol

This turned out cool and clean, I plan on using this space for something I haven’t started yet but it’s going to it easier without the trim plastic in the way, some good old ford interior plugs holding the trim in place !

Stopped in the fabric store and just happened to find the perfect fleece material in the discount rack the just about matches the interior perfectly, turned out good and it’s going to be nice to finally have a headliner again !

Got one side done and ran out of material, luckily the fabric store still had a yard left so I can finish the other visor, and while I was at it I wanted to simplified the visor mirrors and delete the wires/lights and flip door, just my personal preference!

Nice flannel pattern - like the color or lack thereof LOL.
Turned out really good.
Like the simplified sun-visor idea.
