i didn't get to the front suspension because the steel yard didn't have what i needed, but today i removed the inner fender on the other side and then mounted my fuel cell, i also figured our how to mount my new fuel pump. is there anyway to hook up a fuel gauge to the cell? the floor cut isn't quite done but you get the idea.

Sweet Jeep!

You may want to look into a shackle relocation bracket to fix that shackle angle. I wouldn't even want to drive it with those angles. A good shackle angle would be about 45 degrees out the back of the jeep. I can't wait to see how the rest of this turns out.

nice truck you got there too!

dfm_13 01-31-2012 10:16 PM

thank you, yea im gonna make some relocation brackets in the next day or two

dfm_13 01-31-2012 11:55 PM

thanks! yea it is a corporate lease, and it gets alot better mileage then the xj does. i plan on buying it when the lease is up.

98sport4x4 02-01-2012 12:00 AM

is that the 4.7 engine in it? i dont see the hemi tag so i figure it is the 4.7 . i looked into these trucks a few months ago but didnt have the balls to buy it. is your lease pretty reasonable?

xjbeadlocks 02-01-2012 12:36 AM

1500? Come one if you are gonna use it as a tow rig 2500 would be much better. Good looking xj though

Nice jeep. Sorry if i missed it but did you use the stock fuel pump into the fuel cell?

dfm_13 02-01-2012 07:25 AM

yea ita a 4.7 and yea its a 1500, i didnt get i as a tow rig its just my daily driver, and like a i said i will be flat towing anyways. as for the lease since mine is a corporate lease it is unlimited miles and includes all maintenance and insurance in one payment so its a really good deal , and no i am not using the factory fuel pump i bough a be2000 inline and then will buy this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-3262/ which should let me us the factory fuel gauge

Ralkyon 02-02-2012 02:40 PM

What kind of brush guard is that in the very first picture of your cherokee?

dfm_13 02-02-2012 02:52 PM

i found it in a barn and it was given to me so i am not sure, i have since got rid of it

dfm_13 02-02-2012 10:59 PM

correction, drop brackets are skyjacker. you can see them on there website as they come with some of their larger lifts but idk if you can buy them separate or not.
