So all this past summer my xj wipers front and rear work but dont spray... with all this stuff going on, I've had time to take a look. After installing a new pump, they still dont spray. What are possible problems and how do I do it?

Does the pump run? If so, need to check the lines and sprayers and make sure nothing is clogged. Or hook up a temp hose to the pump and see if it sprays. It is possible that there is junk in the bottom of the bottom clogging the pump as well.

so I put the new pump in and still nothing. I guess I shoulda asked my wife to do it while I listened. Guess I'll try that first thing tomorrow. Is there a fuse or something specific to the pump by any chance?

You need to check for voltage at the pump. Get yourself a multimeter and get familiar with it, cause you're gonna need it owning an XJ.

Can anyone show a pic of the rear washer tube routing and placement. I recently purchased a 2001 XJ and this was something that was disconnected. I am working through the same things to get this system back working again. Thanks!
