Your gonna need 4:56 gears for sure not an axle swap the only way I would change the rear axle would be of its a Dana 35 but you will still have to gear

You could find a set of axles out of a 4cylinder Cherokee they came stock with 4:10 gears that is the proper gears for 33 inch tires so it would get you a lil closer to 4:56

Can't wait to see where this goes. Definitely plan on gearing!! I'm at 33 on mine and need to regear ASAP. Did the rustys kit come with a sye?
I have a 00 also. Don't let people scare you with the head gasket woes. Take care of your jeep and it will take care of you... Check out my build sometime!

I've got a buddy who owns Stone Offroad www.stoneor.com His number is on the website. Tell him Michael Lupino sent you. His website is still new so it doesn't show everything. So give him a holler and see what sort of prices he can do for you.

I am about to gear mine so I'm on the hunt for some good gears for a good price myself.. But whatever I choose to get I'll let you know.
I don't plan on going bigger than the 33s I have on my xj so ill probably be going with 4.56 gears.
