2000 Cherokee

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. 3.5' lift, 31' tires and a 40' light bar is all I have done to it but I have plans for more.

The engine runs okay but I don't know what to do to it to give it roar. I don't want it to sound obnoxiously loud all the time but I want you to think that it sounds like a beast when I romp on it.
Any ideas? Working with about 500 so don't give me anything I can't handle.
I also don't want it to be all noise
Thanks

Electric dumps or well dump on an XJ. (To oblige by CF rules I have to say install behind the cat.)

I am also looking for new shocks, I can feel everything with the shocks I have now. I ran my hand across my tire and the traction kind of goes up and down. I don't know if the shocks are doing this but that is my initial guess. Let me know if it could be something else

What shocks do you have on there now? Bilstein 5100 are the best bang for your buck.
