People from SoCal are coming CT for good cars? Never thought I'd see that. We always ***** about how all the good cars in the southwest or west coast.

So I just checked out the RCD "website" and they don't have any lift kits for xj's. Is this Cherokee also being used to build a suspension setup that will later be available to the public?

Looks like a pretty sick concept! Can't wait to see it! Just curious, what exactly is their point behind building this? Just to take it to SEMA? Or are they planning on eventually trying to make a couple bucks at an auction or something?

They are developing a full line of suspension and other components for XJ Cherokee's (more on that as this build progresses). Yes, products available to the public.

The second XJ being built is being built to get hammered on the trails! This one is almost done and will debut very, very soon!

OK, Here is what they got done in the past few days.
Completely stripped the Cherokee, inside and out.
Repairing floor and rust damage
Installed Cherokee on a rotisserie
Body, doors, hood, fiberglass front fenders, updated front grill are going to paint ASAP. Body is also going to get some Line-X coating work on the floor and underside I believe.

Nice, ambicious project. Looking forward to seeing it. Great ideas.
35" tires on stock drive train, drive train upgrade might be sooner than you like. But then again it is a showcase/display car. That SEMA carpet can be rough. LOL.
