2 door half ton build thread

New to this whole build thread thing but I've seen enough interest to start one up. This thread will be from start to finish, the day I bought the cherokee, to the first lift, minor upgrades, big breakage, and now where I'm at now which is balls deep into an axle swap , huge wheel base stretch, and custom fabbed 3 link. Btw, not that it matters too much, I'm an 18 year old that is 100% self reliant and most definitely not sponsored by mommy and daddy. This rig is built by 50+ hour work weeks and got damn americana. Thanks and I hope you guys like what you see! I'll take an array of pictures throughout the process!

It all started after my first cherokee, a 1999 4 door (daily beater) took a **** on me, motor seized up, and I lost interest for a little bit and my town home association ended up calling a local tow company because the vehicle seemed abandon. I signed the title over to the tow company and called it even. Luckily a few days before, I came across this gem! I found a 1992 2 door Cherokee , 105k miles on the bulletproof(ish) 4.0 with an auto trans and a bunch of new parts , and the best part.......... 100% RUST FREE! it came from Colorado somewhere around the Pueblo area, the guy moved to Illinois for work and that's where I snagged it after it was sitting in a lot with a water pump leak and a thermostat leak.... he couldn't figure out the overheating problem, I left with the jeep for $525 , replaced the water pump and thermostat the same night and took it for a drive and it even did some great burnouts! I never had plans to lift and especially turn it into a crawler but duty calls LOL.
