I know it sounds funny but that's what I'm doing. I own a 1993 Cherokee country with a rusted out tub. I started to fix sheet metal that was caused by a leaky heater core. But I came to the conclusion that it was too far gone. So I bought a 1998 Cherokee with a 4 cyl. and with a 5 speed ax5 that was shot also. The motor through a rod through the block. So I'm putting the drive train from the 1993 into the 1998. Oh, the 98 only costed my $400 bones! Wow this is a lot of work! But it's going, I'll keep adding pics as I go. Wish me luck!

I'm keeping the 98. It's getting a heart transplant! I'm also putting the old dash in the 98. So whenever some one sees it they'll be like WTF?

i like the newer dashes wayyy better than the old ones, but i like your idea of swapping them just for ***** and giggles.

i see both of the xjs are red, but what color are the interiors in both?
