Would like to build slide out drawers in the future, but this beats a milkcrate by far. Still need to carpet it, and would eventually like to extend so I can ditch the rear seat completely. Some sort of cubby hole to replace the bench seat.

Np231 Transfer case linkage upgrade by Azzy Design Works. My bushings are worn out causing a nasty vibration in the shifter so figured I would upgrade. Should allow smoother shifting as well.

Same concept and similar design as the Boostwerks, only powder coated instead of bare. If I didn't get it for a good deal I would've bought Boostwerks kit

Much simpler design. Still need to adjust it a bit but shifts much smoother, and no more vibes inside the cab.
New vs old. Why they over complicated it in the first place, who knows.

Got the misses a Nikon D3300 DSLR as an early Christmas gift so she keeps busy while i'm in Chicago for the next two weeks, she's slowly learning how to use it... She wanted to decorate the Jeeps.

Family, haven't seen them in 7 years. Things are good, one more semester of school until I graduate with my associates so been keeping busy. Happy holidays to your family as well, I actually lost your number after resetting my phone. How's the MJ doing?

AIn't done much with it. Been busy with other projects. I rattle canned it black as the rusty primer gray look wasn't cutting it. I pressure washed the engine bay, put a radiator in it and got it running. Then I found out why the engine bay was so oily. The crankcase vent line on the front of the valve cover is cracked and spews oil. I drove it around the block with smoke coming out from under the hood and parked it. It was dripping oil by the time I shut it off. I suspect the rings are shot causing excessive blow by. I stopped there as that isn't an easy fix and I have other projects to sort first. Once I get the shop finished I'll pull the MJ in and see if I can't bandage it up to run it as is for a while. The v8 swap is down the road a bit behind a list of other projects.

Had a RockAuto $25 credit that was going to expire soon, so I used them for some extended brake lines. ACDELCO18J2676 - Driver Side- 5"+ longer than stockACDELCO18J2677 - Passenger side- 5"+ longer than stockDORMANH622067 - Rear - 4" longer than stock, already have 3" brackets for a total of 7" extension in the rear.
I plan on revamping the suspension by the end of June, as I graduate from school middle of May. The girlfriend and I are planning an week long east coast trip and considering taking the Jeep to all sorts of national parks.

Thanks. Hopefully I can get land an "adult" job by a August and get to the next chapter in my life.
But in the meantime, time to start piecing together suspension parts. I'm thinking 5.5" short arm, adjustable uppers and lowers, shackle relocation boxes, extended shackle, RE 3.5" springs, RE 5.5" coils, unsure about shocks, everyone says the RC double shear trackbar is surprisingly nice.
With all the weight I have and plan on adding more, I feel everything will put me around 5" or so after everything settles. No need for a long arm, not yet atleast.
Hopefully I'll start updating this thread again real soon. Not sure if I want to tear the dash apart to fix the AC.
Also found this at Walmart this morning along with a Grand Wagoneer, pretty cool.

Nice score on the matchbox! I have a shelf full of second gen Camaros, fourth gen Camaros, and Jeeps. I pick them up when I see them at swap meets or when I am out and about. Will have to keep my eye out for that one to add to the collection.
As far as the suspension, if you want to go 5" on a short arm then I suggest going with some CADs. I have some on mine and it rides smooth as glass. When you lift them that high on short arms the LCAs end up at such an angle that bumps become hell. The axle is driven into the LCA mount rather than the axle pivoting on the control arms. Follow me? The CADs get your LCAs parallel to the ground again. I have fixed length LCAs on mine. Find a set the appropriate length for your lift and then shim the LCAs to set your pinion angle. Not something you need to adjust all the time. Also, with the CADs the UCAs are the appropriate length to center tire in the wheel well. I am still running factory UCAs and haven't bent one yet. I have a RC double shear on mine. It has been a quality piece. Has held up well for a couple years and ~15k miles.
Screw the dash. You have the 4-55 system don't you?

Looking forward to the updates... Lift sounds like it will work pretty well! Adjustable or not you should probably consider the possibility of wanting CA drop brackets to smooth out your ride... at least until you decide to go long arm. I was VERY close to putting some on my short arm and I'm still < 5". Maybe I'm just a baby. Only reason I didn't was because the alignment shoes looked like they would disintegrate if you stared for too long if you know what I mean. Good luck finishing up school
