Might I suggest you get two pieces of 1x1 angle about 3" long and weld them onto the flat bar to hold the battery from shifting. I like the sticker, makes it legit.

I do have extra from the rockers. Speaking of rockers, how would I paint the spots that are going to be sealed once welded in? (On the top of the tube and the backside where it'll sit against the angle iron) Could I get more weld-thru primer and tape off the sections where you'll be welding too? Wouldn't the metal rust if I leave it bare?

You kinda don't. If 100% sealed then it will rust until all of the oxygen is consumed. Not likely to get it 100% sealed though. Considering the thickness of the steel, I doubt it will rust through any time soon.

Thanks everybody for 21,000 views on the thread! Originally made this just to document everything I do to it because I have a bad habit of not keeping receipts or track of things. Hard to believe it has that many for only being a little over a year old.

Took the fenders off to make it a little easier for the weekend. Here's what i'd like to have done by the end of the week:
-Get rockers welded in
-Repair the hole in the windshield fluid tank when I drilled when mounting the fender flares.
-Trim the front fenders a bit more.
-Paint the backside of the front fenders.
-Either replace antenna with stock or mount CB antenna in place and get a hidden antenna kit. I rarely use the radio and more my iPod anyways.

While you are in there, might as well relocate that vacuum ball to the engine compartment. I put mine on the passenger side up by the HVAC. The vacuum line runs to the HVAC anyways, so that will shorten that up.

I'm just going to mount it inside the front crossmember most likely. I had it in the engine bay before and it's just too bulky for my liking. I know some people will use a Wrangler vacuum canister which looks like a small rectangle, which is a cool mod but not necessary.
I also ordered 6x Champion Copper Plus plugs and I have a new box of spark plug wires laying on the shelf. I'll do cap/rotor another time.

Jeep is coming along nicely. That unibody towards the beginning of your thread scared me though.

Huge thanks to bad_idea for coming down and burning these in for me. This guy can definitely glue to pieces of metal together! I really do appreciate the help, I couldn't have done any of this without you.
