Can't really do much until tax return comes in. Signed up for the local VB Jeep Fest this April, met a bunch of cool people and saw a bunch of cool jeeps last year, hopefully i'll see more this year.

Ordered a better gutter mount system from S(h)mittybilt today. They bolt onto the rack rather than using u-bolts to secure the rack. No more deforming my gutter rail, either.

After talking to a few guys who's owned plenty of wranglers and doorless cherokees I've decided to try their method of quick disconnects which mount to the body hinge instead of the door hinge. Supposedly it prevents wallowing of the body side hinge holes and it lines up just as good as factory. Only drawback I see is if I have to ever repair it I'll have to cut the bolt and drill new holes or weld on new hinges. Hopefully that doesn't ever happen. Major improvement in closing and opening versus just having bolts hanging around. I can close all four with ease again.
Not the prettiest welds but it'll hold. Have to paint them and I'll be set.

New gutter supports installed, way better VS how it was mounted before. Grade 8 bolts with lock washers holding the rack down, eventually want to get it welded up just for extra security.
Time to repair the gutter rail and straighten it these are much less stress on the rail.

Old Vs new, I have 6 of these plates and 12 ubolts, not sure what to do with them. I could repurpose them for roof light mounts maybe, or a shovel mount or hilift mount.

Rust converter on the inside of the rear bumper, next task is to remove the fender armor, clean them, and apply a bead of Rtv around it so I can keep debris and water out. Not sure if I want to stay with the stainless Allen bolts or go get some hex bolts for the armor. The Allen bolts just seem to strip out over time no matter what.

Better be gold since that's the name of the thread, and I appreciate you getting that bumper off for me. I'll just swing by and grab it real quick.
