Also, time to fix some rust issues, looks like the windshield glue has crapped out leaking water under the carpet for 4-5 years...

Default Some Good & bad news

178,300 miles

Changed out the front main seal, and the harmonic balancer this past weekend. (went with a DAYCO brand) Set the belt tension to 150 lbs.

Also installed a Hayden 676 ATF cooler, and re-located the external transmission filter mount.

Jeep also got a brand new PGW windshield installed, and front bump stops.

However, I did find a crack in the exhaust header before the upstream O2 sensor, looks like i'll be ordering a new manifold soon!

Old front main seal

New seal

Hayden 676 ATF cooler

Cooler line route, with external spin on filter & new harmonic balancer

ATF external spin on filter mount.

New bump stops.

Crack in exhaust manifold

178,440

Decided to do the "orange Sharpie" trick with the speedometer needles.

I'm happy with the results.

New Omix-ADA brand exhaust manifold came in, really surprised with how nice the welds are!

Also threw on some new Moog control arms to replace the 20 year old / 178k mile ones. -Steering response is much better surprisingly.

Your Hayden ATF Cooler needs to be flipped so the hoses are on the side

Maybe? The Hayden instructions state the ports can be installed facing down, or to the side.

Its been running like this for some time, and hasn't had any cooling/flow/ problems.

Instructions here, lower right corner. Sorry crappy image.

180,100

Replaced the factory steering today, new spicer ball joints, Moog tie rod ends, and steering stabilizer shock.

Rides so much smoother.

The Advanced Auto Ball joint kit #24 for rent helped out, having the proper adapter cups.

Well, I've been pretty busy this weekend.

Fixing the sagging headliner, replacing the moldy carpet from the 5 year old water leak.

Adding some roof insulation too.

Lowes. One roll did the roof. Its "frost king" duct insulation. Closed cell foam with aluminium backing and an adhesive layer.

Around $18

Love seeing the spare cassette tapes on the rear deck. Did you 'find' them under the back seat?
