I am going to build my 1997 XJ. At the moment I am not sure what exactly will be done. I bought it for $2100 out of Atlanta, GA. It has 165k miles 4.0 4x4 5 speed and best of all a 2 door. At present it has a 2 inch lift kit and issues. So far I did the tune up oil change replaced the tape player and speakers. Tomorrow I am changing the front and rear diff fluid trans and transfer case fluid so I know its all fresh and so I can inspect it. I am looking for suggestions on what to do with it. I would like to do a 6 inch lift this fall. Just looking for input though I will put some pictures up soon. Also I am a ford guy so jeeps are new to me.
