1996 XJ Country Starting from the basics

1996 Country 4.0L Stock on Stock with 132,000 miles..We call him SIMON

Started out by replacing the completely worn out brakes.
Brake pads, rotors
Brake shoes, drums, hardware and backing plates
Replaced all the brake lines with Nickle Allow brake line.

worn out dosent even begin to describe them suprised u didnt do the calipers too. whats the rest of it look like.

I ordered new calipers but they did not come in saturday and I really wanted to drive it to work today.

The rust in the usual locations, i'm going to post pictures of the repairs as i go....LOL

Front end is tight, but I'm going to replace the hub bearings and u-joints next weekend:thumbup:

How much did it cost you to replace the brake system?

I get a discount through the shop, 300 spent so far and another 200 tied up in orderd parts
