I have been on this forum using it to help me make decisions and fix my jeep for the last 3 years and decided it was finally time for a build post.
So I have had this jeep since April 19 2015. I have a ton of pictures that I’m going to have to go through and post up. But here the general is.
I bought it just like this
4wd 4.0 “high output” got it with 165k miles on it. It was completely plastidipped down to the rims. Had some rust in the fender and some underneath but overall pretty sweet. Dirty but decent interior. The headliner was falling and I had to wear a hat. But overall a good deal. Sitting on 30x9.5 and 15x8 rims with 3.75 backspacing. Now I’ll start from there and catch up to 3 years later.

As soon as I got it I got some oil and checked all the fluids and noticed that the plastidip crap was bubbling on the rims so I decided to peel it off. Which ended up taking way more effort than I expected. I also took the roof rack off because it was way too short for the jeep. I made a flag pole out of conduit to fly around town and to concerts.
