Yeah, those have to be taller coils in the front. No spacers, and just the stock coil spring isolators. The rear definitely has lift blocks, which is not a good thing.

Are you a 100% sure on going back to stock height? Only reason I ask is if you go back to stock, but then you decide you want some lift, you'll be doing everything twice, and spending some coin.

I'm no professional, but happy to help where I can. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions.

I have a 300 mile drive coming up so I decided to replace the leaking transmission line hose.

Used a small pipe cutter and installed some ATF rated hose with double hose clamps on each end.

Leaky Line:

New hose:

Also replaced the worn front sway bar bushings that seemed original. HUGE improvement on how the Jeep handles at all speeds, It was amazing.

Now I just need to finish the rear bushings.

Old bushings:

New bushings and links:

Installed new 4 hole injectors to replace the single hole 24 year old stock injectors that had well over 300,000 miles on them.

Also my oil filter adaptor o-rings leaked out over a quart of oil all over the place yesterday. Cleaned that up and installed new o-rings. No more leaks!

Where did you get your 4 hole injectors?

Cool pretty simple to do right? Just disconnect and remove fuel rail then pop them out in with the new?

I'll have to see if they have correct ones for mine, mine is 89'

I got mine from jhc7399 on the forum. Look in the for sale section, he rebuilds them.

Order up his headlight harness too while you're at it. You won't be disappointed with either.

Yep! Make sure to depressurize the fuel rail first via the little fitting on the side.

Double check the new o rings and use naval jelly to lube them before installing.

I tore a few o rings so I had spares from your local auto part store for $5.

Id get the 4 hole injector design over the single hole stock ones, they have a finer mist.

Had a weird rear end noise develop around 45 MPH, sounded like the rear axle. At speeds of over 60MPH on acceleration only, the noise got much worse along with a vibration from the drive train and body.

Turns out the U-Joints were toast on both ends of the driveshaft.

Looks like OEM Spicer U joints that came with the Jeep.

Replaced both with Grease-zerk joints, drives so much smoother!

Well guys, I had to. Picked up another one, pretty much stock.

1991 Cherokee Laredo. 200,000 miles.

Installed some LED headlights, will start a new thread for it.

Nice starting point did you get rid of the one you were working on or did you just pickup another for the sake of wanting another project?

My dad needed a Jeep for his ranch, since the 93' Has no carpet I just gave him that one.

It is nice that this 91' model has carpet and a full stock interior. Its burgundy though. But its growing on me.
