Default 1993 country build

i sold my 1998 a few weeks ago and could not seem to find one i wanted so i bought a more factory jeep today. 1993 xj country with 160k solid running gear. 3" spacer lift with 31's. i will get pics up tomorrow. jeep is avg. body is pretty rough dent wize but not too bad. paint is faded and clear is gone. my plans are as follows, 4.5 rc lift, black crawler wheels, 32x11.50 mtzs, going to rough up pant, remove all trim bumpers etc and go flat black. headliner is sagging so either repair or remove. custom bumpers. roof rack, install my homenrew OBA. i will update as i remember more. ordered this today so far
4.5 rc lift
15x8 crawler d rings
32x11.50 mtz's
i paid for the jeep, tires lift and wheels and i am right now at $3200 total with everthing installed. so i am well on my way just waiting for all parts to get here. looking for ideas on headliner repair and bumper solutions.

Just did my headliner the other night.. super easy, hardest part was taking the trim off and putting it back together.. also have a flat tan paint job haha I think you should look into the flat olive green, I've seen a few and love em.. nice purchase though man

Holy Cow I LOVE the camo headliner. I've never done one, do you have to use adhesive or anything? Did you just wrap the new fabric over the old one?

Details man, Details!!

LOL

It was my first time, super simple man. Hardest part is taking off the trim, start in the back and move your way forward. Then you are going to have to separate the interior lights from the backing, I just cut really close with a box cutter and pulled down from the slice I made and it popped right out. Slide it out the back, rip the old fabric off, then I used a soft bristled wheel cleaning brush and cleaned up the foam backing.. Really do a good job cleaning it or else the adhesive won't hold!! I picked up some 3M Super 77 adhesive from Wally World, and a flat paint roller for corners and stuff. Stretched the fabric out, got it all lined up, folded the front half down and started spraying.. I used half a can on the front, spraying both the bottom of the fabric and your foam backing.. Let it sit and get tacky for a few minutes, then BE CAREFUL and set it down.. Use the paint roller to clean up all the mess up and get it nice and sealed.. Finish up the bottom half, then spray a little adhesive on the fabric thats overhanging on the sides, front and back so it won't find a way to come lose down the road.. Piece it all back together!!

either will work. as long as you watch your gauges and flip the switch when need then leave it. its nice to be able to have it on a switch so you can have it on while on trails and what not.
