The header disappeared! Its getting dark too, so thats all for today. Got 3 more bolts to put in the intake and then torque that puppy down tomorrow. Let me know what you guys think! Just because I am not breaking bolts and installing a lift and big tires ( thats coming too) , doesnt mean I dont appreciate comments!

That looks soooo much better, i really like how the paint on the engine compartment came out. Looks like your can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Let us know how that beast roars once you get it going. Yours looks a lot like my '92 laredo when i got it.

Been awhile since I have posted anything here. The new engine has been more than reliable, and I couldnt be happier with it. I spent last weekend overhauling the A/C system. New compressor, condenser, all new lines, filter drier, expansion valve. The only thing that isnt new is the evaporator. Pulled a 2 hour vacuum, let it sit for an hour, and the needle never moved. I would say she is leak free. Charged it up and its cool as a cucumber. Serviced the front and rear diffs this week. Headed to Pick and Pull this weekend to get some interior things I need, window switches, etc.

Good to hear the engine's doing well. I gotta deal with that a/c mess too, someday.

Excellent work, I am in the same process with my truck. I am painting the engine and accessories and if all goes well maybe I will be able to work on installing it this coming week. I need to get the A/C installed too. I am using a '96 block and head stroked to 4.7L with all the goodies. If you want to check on the progress the entire build is here.
