Default It has been a bit!!

Hey guys it's been a while, not much has been done to the Jeep besides maintenance things. Changed oil and just put on new water pump with some new hoses today! Jeeps running nice and cool. I really am enjoying the Jeep experience I've loved every minute of it. I did order some new LED headlights though! Those should be in tomorrow so will post some pics of the Jeep with those in, looking forward to getting rid of those crappy stock headlights.

Little camping trip/ dirtbiking trip in the mountain's. Was a blast!

My bike. 2006 KTM SXF250

I'm already ready for more snow!

Not bad

My front brakes have been getting super hot and squealing. So back to the mechanic they go. I have a warranty on all the brake system there so its free.

Default Loving it

Got my Jeep back from the shop a couple weeks ago and it is doing great. Easily does 70 on the freeway. Took it up camping as well and it is an awesome camping rig! I sleep in the back of it with no problems. Got an interior led light kit I'm installing in it tonight

I need to:
Fix headliner and leaking roof
Fix tear in seat
New speakers
Turbo

Great read! Keep up the good work and enjoying the Jeep life. It looks awesome on 3” Zone and 31 KM3’s. Did the lift settle down? What did it settle down to?

Thanks man! Been enjoying it for sure. And yes it did settle down, when I first lifted it had a tad little rake in the back, but now its settled down and it looks perfect to me. Haven't got the exact measurements but I need to do that.

Default Update

Welp it's been way too long since I've updated! Not a whole lot has been done to the Jeep. I did install the interior LED light kit and wow what a difference it makes in the interior, totally worth it! I'll try to get some pics of that tonight. Also put in a new power steering pump. And just last night I put in new 746 injectors that I found out about thanks to the forum! And I'm very glad that I did, because on removal of the original injectors I discovered that the PO had put 2 injectors in there for a 4 cylinder Jeep for years 91-95! Couldn't believe it lol. Man what an upgrade, so happy with it, probably the best upgrade I've done to my Jeep yet. It idles super smooth, faster response to acceleration, and also it starts up faster which I'm very happy about. I'll keep you guys updated on if the MPG gets better, hoping it will.

New yellow injectors

How she was sitting today.

See the two 4 cylinder injectors? Lol

Default LED Interior Pics

Finally got some pics of the new interior LED lights I put in. If anyone has an XJ they know how dark and dull those stock lights are lol. I love these new ones and they're extremely simple to install. Sadly I can't get my overhead map lights to work or it would be even brighter.

Yesterday my grandpa and I cleaned the grounds on the stud by the dipstick tube, it's the first tip to do on Cruisers write-up about the Renix, and I'm glad I did cause I got my cruise control back because of it! The grounds were super dirty down there. After I cleaned them I took the Jeep for a spin and sure enough I got cruise control back lol. I recommend anyone with a renix to at least do that first tip, I plan to do more of them. Here's the link to the write-up:

Thanks Cruiser

Sure has been awhile, haven't been doing much since all this covid has been going around! The Jeep has been doing great though and I'm looking forward to this winter. Gonna be putting on some new speakers in the next few days. Here's some pics of it.

Compared to a stock Jeep

I put weather mats all around and this nice little pack for the cubby.

My Jeep and my grandpas awesome 66 Ford Bronco.

Hey cool build man. I have an 89 with 113,000 miles on it. I need to put a lift on it so bad and some "cool" features but never gey around to it. My plan was a 3" on 31's as well, on turbine rims. Some fog lights. A roof rack. Maybe a small brush guard. And a rear tire carrier to me is essential to a build list. So nice to get it out of the cargo area and it looks cool too.

Been a fan of everything you've done so far, except maybe the headlights haha. They look funny to me but that's preference. Keep up the build and cool jeep man.

Hey, thanks man I appreciate it! Dang 113,000 miles, you're lucky lol I wish my Jeep had low miles like that too. Yea man you should definitely put a lift and tires on it, totally changes the look and feel of the Jeep. I want a rear tire carrier as well, looks awesome and you get more room in the back. And I totally get it about the headlights haha, took me a bit to get used to em lol I thought they looked kinda funny at first too.
