I recently got this
like 2 weeks ago.
It needs work pretty bad. No rust. But this guy, i dont mean to offend anyone on here but, the california stereotyped mexican with 80 cars, dressing all hood and ghetto, owned it before me. And after i removed the 17 Bandanas from everything i realized what i needed for interior.

Looks like he didnt like the Tan interior because the carpet and center console is PAINTED black. but the back and the rear cargo area are still tan. i tore out that and i primered it and im going to bedline.

Some issues i know of right now.

Steering. The Steering Gear was loose. I got down and tightened the bolts and my steering came back but now when i turn it still makes weird noises and its torquing the frame piece that its attached to. My windshield wiper stick is extremely hard to turn. My left blinker stays on. and i can move the wheel up and down excessively. So i might need to try and find out how do do a new steering column.

I think it needs a new starter. It takes a while for it to turn over. It just sits there and just slowly turns then faster and faster and faster. Its taken 10 to 15 seconds sometimes. Any Ideas??

Front blinkers dont work.
Oil gauge doesnt work.
Speedo barely works Major delays and the needle has play in it and vibrates all over the place. Gas gauge, When i hit the gas it goes down really fast, oh wait its a jeep thats common. But in all seriousness when i hit the gas it drops a quarter tank and slowwwwwwly moves up to where it was.

Its got 2 diff tires in the back then the front
Leafs are sagging bad

only the defroster vents work, but it wont change temp.

as of the other day it got stuck in 4wd, the ebrake light stays on, and the temp gauge goes all the way up. i drive it for like 10 seconds and it all goes back to normal.

This is gunna be a slowww build funds are low.

But for getting the jeep for 600 bucks i cant complain too much.

Posilock, Clean up and rebuild T-case. Install SYE in process and drop for higher lift.

the defroster vents is i believe a vacuum issue, mine do the same thing, the temp should be by a cable right under the passenger side dash so i would check that. thats all i really can say about the list of stuff :P when i got mine half the interior was covered in years of dirt, food (tons of sunflower seeds) and duct tape so i know the feeling :P

do you know what tcase it has stock?
I wanna get back to base to take pics! ugh

and maybe u can help me out with this sound i have.
ill put it in drive and if i take off like grandpa slow its fine but if i give it just a little bit too much gas theres a loud knock coming from like it seems where the tcase is back. i dont know what it is. its like something is torquing and hitting the body
