1990 2 door XJ "Mufasa"

Hi I just bought my second wheelin rig. (my first was a 81 Dodge Ram Charger)
This one is a 1990 2 door XJ. I shall name it "Mufasa" cuz right now it sounds like a lions roar and can be heard for miles around. Its practically bone stock besides an unknown Cold Air intake. and no muffler. I will be usin my rig as a semi DD. And I need some help. FIrst. i Need some new tires. hell i just need tires cuz my left rear one isd balder then an old man. I will post pics when i can. I was thinkof a RC 3" Suspension lift to start. then a magnaflow exhaust (i have someone who will sell one to me for like 15 bucks SCOOORE!). ANy ideas. I have a very low budget. But I have the patience to save it. I am NOT asking for sympathy parts. I amsimply statin what i need so that you all know what is coming first on the rig. Any ideas of some low budet yet decent A/T tires. or parts i can use to Make my Lion of a jeep reach its potential. I will be doing all the work myself. No shop will ever touch my jeep unless i supervise it. I will post pics as soon as i can. I already hooked my self up with some AUtolite(eww) Iridium sparkplugs. I work at a body repair shop so i have access to alot of epquipment. I prefer bolt on. ANy sugestions?

lol yeah. I saw it and couldnt resist. Plus it feels like it would be lighter then the four door. I have already takin it out a lil. I just havent done any heavy duty testin of the four wheel drive yet but i know it works. ahah you should have seen it before the rain happened. it was covered in mud and every light except the headlamps for spray painted solid black. that took me about 20 minutes to brake cleaner all of them to bring back my signals and the 4 ways and the high beams. Lights get better every night. I Need to plug up the vacuum leaks. its got power issues (except for when i am comin right off a cold start then it Roars off the line.)

I think you can get bfg k/o at for cheaper but they become slicks in mud ......

Hatch shocks are Shot. Off to the junkyard to pick some explorer ones. or i can just leave it like that. theres no back window so i can just grab what i need thru there. kinda chilly tho when I am with a girl back there.

Any idea where i can find em? and I need to find some lockers. i dont need a wheel hub snappin and then im out of a vehicle for the thirty mile drive to work. lol my recovery gear consists of a shovel and a box of wrenches and sockets. and no spare....

ANd im cuttin those fender flares off. already rubbed them once flippin a ***** on a two lane over a mound of dirt on top of a curb. ahaha some guy stopped as i was doin it. he either said "Learn to drive" or Nice car. I couldnt tell cuz i couldnt hear him over the exhaust. Anyone have that problem where the driver side winsheild wiper is too long and hits the edge of the window?
