Appreciate it.
As I was replacing the solenoids, I decided to go ahead and lengthen the wiring for the exterior winch controls.
Decided to put the plug in the headlight trim. I think it turned out pretty good.
Apologize for the horrible photo.
Here is a full shot of the engine compartment. The winch solenoid box on the left, the overflow on the right. (I added some hose to the overflow outlet to get any fluids out of the engine compartment)
And the washer reservoir on the right as well.
Below is a list of things I want to incorporate at some point. No particular order.
---------------------------------------------------------
Atlas II transfer case with 3.8:1 ratio.
Fender liner material to block the fender to door gaps and block off the hole from the OEM washer reservoir filler cap.
The leaf springs are on their way out, so I am going to keep an eye out for some replacements.
Install a leftover Sony dual din head unit I have from the vette and add a back up camera.
Quarter panel guards. I have some sitting in the garage, I just have to do some shaping to the body and paint then install them. Going to use nutserts
Window tint on the front two windows. I usually dislike tint on my off-roading vehicles, but it just gets too hot without it.
Anti-rock

There is a couple things in that picture that I would like to do and one I have been meaning to do. Upper radiator hose. Find some plastic like what is over the AC Compressor and put it on the hose by the battery. That section has been bugging me since I bought the '00 XJ 5 years ago.
Wouldn't mind getting my washer fluid reservoir out of the fender well either but that not that big a deal to me. Moving the coolant overflow tank would give me a an ideal place to put my aux fuse box and place for the relays. Would not mind cleaning up the electrical in the engine compartment a bit.

Go to your local pick a part and look around. I found a couple that would fit the area that I had available. This one is for a 1989 Nissan Pickup truck. It fits even better without the hydraulic hose from the cooler. There are three attachment points you can use. I made a bracket out of some aluminum attached to the cold air plate.
Lucked out on the washer reservoir when I was looking around. I knew it would fit since it was out of a Comanche. The washer pump hole was a little too small, but some patience and trimming allowed the XJ grommet to fit. Removing all the wiring and hose for the rear washer pump was liberating. lol

Mine was a Napa hose, which I pretty sure is a rebranded Gates, that I have on there now. Surprised it did not come with one like the O'reilly's one. I did find some of that plastic to put on my lower radiator hose where it kind of rubs up on the steering box, maybe one of the power steering hoses, I can't remember which, cause that bugged me too.

Thursday I loaded up the Jeep and went to http://www.hiddenfallsadventurepark.com/4x4 just outside of Austin Texas to see a friend and to do some wheeling!
The plan was to pick up my son from school mid-day, drive to Shreveport LA, stay in a hotel, then complete the rest of the drive Friday morning.
The Tundra didn't miss a lick. It sure didn't like travelling over 75MPH though. After watching the fuel needle moving quickly towards empty, I decided to knock it down to about 73. The 8MPG went up to 9MPG after that.
Good thing I decided to purchase a new spare for the trailer. Found a bolt in the passenger rear Friday morning when I came out of the hotel to leave.
The fuel stops were plentiful with my awesome gas mileage.
My son riding the bull at one of the Texas stops.
We arrived at the park and got checked in. Austin Jeep People group was having a large event Saturday that would bring in over 700 jeeps. We wanted to get some wheeling in before everyone else got there.
First order was to go to the highest point on the property to look around.
My friend that lives in Austin that I came out to see has a 2018 JLU with 2.5" lift and 37s. He brought out his friend that also has an 18 JLU on 40s that was built for SEMA.
This place is pretty large. Lots of creek bed trails.
Better take photos of your jeep at the falls!!
We spent most of the time wheeling creek beds on Friday.
All the trails are named. Just like EVERYONE'S JEEP! I swear I have never been somewhere that every rig had a name. I've never named any of my vehicles, but in Austin, Every Jeep has a name. LOL
I took MOST of the photos on Friday. Did a few trails Friday night. We were completely tired from the drive and wheeling all day, so we called it a night. Went back to my friends apartment to sleep, then back Saturday morning.
We wheeled a lot on Saturday and didn't stop and take photos hardly at all. There will be a promo video for the event come out and my jeep should be in most of the video.
I have lots of video from Friday that I will try to find time to put together and post.
The Jeep did great despite the coil pack deciding to make it's way out. Jeep still ran, it coughed a bit and argued when I introduced RPM, but overall it impressed me. The tires were a HUGE addition. They worked wonderful.
Finished wheeling Saturday, took everything back to the apartment, cleaned up and went out to eat. Did cars and coffee at COTA Sunday which was very cold and windy. Did a few other things, then headed back to Shreveport for a hotel, then completed the drive Monday.
Overall it was a GREAT trip. Hope you enjoy the write-up.

Nice build thread. I am curious about the exhaust vents on your hood. Are they cut out holes with a hole saw and a fitted grommet?

Yeah just hole sawed and a round plastic grommet. They were there when I purchased.
Planning on replacing with a louvered panel for more release area.

It's been a while since I updated this. Figured I would add some.
I've installed the touch screen and am waiting on a friend to get with me to help mold the trim to it.
It has a back up camera and I've replaced all the speakers.
Plan is to mount a front camera, so I can see obstacles directly in front of me.
Went to Coppingers Cove Saturday with a group.
Was a fun ride. The water wasn't too high.
Always a fun time going into the caves.
Rock Garden play
Rainbow falls didn't disappoint.
Even with all the water crossings, there needs to be clean up. Did that Sunday morning.

A friend at work wanted to take a buddy of his wheeling, so I introduced them to the trail up here on the mountain.
Nothing too hard.
A few photos from the trail.
I really need to pick up some bump stops for the rear as seen in the last photo.

Finally made it up to Windrock with a couple of friends.
Did 22, 24, 26, 16 and a LOT of gravel.
That place is very large. Saw the train. Saw the windmills, saw the overlook. Now I need to see harder trails.
One of the guys was open open on 35s, so we couldn't do anything that hard.
Pics!

Some things were ordered. Some things came in.
Packed very well.
BOOM SHAKALAKA!!!
Spent Saturday evening removing the stock 231.
Now I have to cut the shifter hole a little larger, figure out what clocking rotation to go with and start putting it back together. Time will be limited to do that, so I'll piddle with it a little at a time.
Also, I received the AW4 transmission controller from Montana auto & Fab. (I had to call them at 3 weeks after ordering for them to send it BTW)
I will have full control over 1st and 2nd gear. That'll come in handy when I need more wheel speed or engine braking.
