Never wheeled
Is it a good idea to try wheeling with a stock '96?
And are there any spots in southwest ga? |
Absolutely! Just avoid anything that looks rough. Plenty of action on trails and fire roads.

Unless you have proper recovery. I wouldn't do anything to get you stuck without it.

Assuming its not the 2WD version, never underestimate the Cherokee in stock form. Very capable, just start light and get a feel for how she does. You'll quickly find yourself seeking bigger and uglier areas to conquer!
|
Stay out of your GA mud.

if you have a 2 inch rear hitch (class 3), get yourself a 3 inch by 30 foot recovery strap (no hooks) and a receiver pin.
you can slip the loop inside the hitch and insert the pin so it goes through the loop. this will get you started until you get yourself a receiver shackle insert and some front tow hooks with xj brackets. just don't be the last jeep in the group. |
