Man thats sad, I had no Idea that this was going on. WHat the big deal with letting us use the land it doesn't hurt them any to let us wheel.

on the greenie side, obviously there is a bit of evidence that we are there, but i agree, IF everyone wheels responsibly and minimizes wheel spin, then there is less evidence we were ever there.
but, the greenies look for any way to make us look bad to make themselves look good.
so the more ammo we provide by leaving our mark out there, the easier it is for them to close a trail, or even worse, the whole area.
once a trail gets closed, it will usually never get re-opened.
it is sad, but it is reality. a reality that has got to open our eyes and become more responsible with the trails we have left.
this is happening everywhere, it is quite unfortunate.

likethere saying.
whats worse for impact of an area..
50 guys traveling to a small 500 acere park, and abusing it, tearing it up from the constant travel of vehicles on the same trail same day,
or,
50 guys spread out resposibly using the 5,000 acres of area of a state, going over a trail once or twice that day.
